I can get good pictures of the boys as long as I take them while they are on the move!

Sunshine Photo Shoot
Ooohhh Boys look the sun is out! Let's go have snack outside and let Mommy take some good pictures of you!
Um okay, that's an interesting pose Anthony . . .
Nice Aiden, really enjoying seeing your graham crackers. Also loving the hood on your head of your "too small for you but you won't give it up" jacket!
Fine! Go play! Your sister is sleeping I'll take good pictures of her instead!
"Hey Abby, you're not doing it right! Give Mommy a really Good pose! Stick your tongue out at her!"
"That's better!"

Two months
All dressed for the doctor!
What do you mean I have to get shots???
Abby is two months old! At her check up today she weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces. She was 19 inches long. So, she's growing great!!! She has amazing head control, is starting to giggle and coo, and is exclusively nursing now instead of supplementing with a bottle of pumped breast milk. She just moved out of Preemie clothes and into Newborn sizes, especially in the length. She is a happy little one, unless you put her in a car seat or she has a dirty diaper. In both of those cases she uses her lungs to their capacity to voice her displeasure! She is sleeping for one five hour stretch at night right now! I'm loving that! She did get three shots and one oral vaccine today. That has resulted in one very cranky little two month old!

Have you ever held a miracle? Part 2
Why Go 1,025 Miles?
Why would someone load up a five year old, a four year old, and a premature seven week old into a van and drive 1,025 miles overnight for 20 hours to only stay four short nights and turn around and drive it again?????
For this picture!
And that smile!
And who on earth would be crazy enough to take their own vacation time from working with children to help me get that picture and smile????
This Princess!
And why would she do that? To get this moment with these little people!

St. Patrick's Day
Mimi and Papa sent us a card for St. Patrick's Day!
It had a gift card in it!
But the stickers were the best!
Little Shamrocker! Thanks for the beautiful headband and bow Cara!
Medium Shamrocker! It was a beautiful day to go out and play!
Big Shamrocker! The sun was shining and we didn't even need a jacket!
We climbed and played!
We made some new friends!
And we ran and ran and ran!
A fantastic day for this Irish family! I hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day! An ancient Irish blessing from our house to yours!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

March Madness
Tonight was our First Annual Family March Madness Bracket Party!!! We all filled out our brackets tonight!
Abby's first time to fill out brackets. She chose to go with the "flip a coin" method.
Evidently it was exhausting work, but she got it done!
Abby's Final Four
Anthony seemed to have a real affinity for any team from Florida or Texas. I think he just misses his grandparents.
He is confident with his choices!
Anthony's Final Four
Aiden's strategy was similar to Anthony's, but much more varied and sporadic . . .
and a little distracted by the Wii.
Aiden's Final Four
Patrick actually knows the teams, their records, and makes an informed decision.
Patrick's Final Four
Angie has come a long way in the nine years she's been doing brackets. She no longer chooses teams based on their name, their state (with the exception of UT or A&M, I just can't choose them to win), or the color of their uniforms. Instead, she attempts to listen to Patrick all year long and make an "informed by osmosis this is all just fun but I sure would like to beat Patrick this year" decision!
Angie's Final Four
Tune back in, we'll let you know who won!!!

Surprises
We had a Monday full of surprises! They were good surprises though!!!
Aiden won a basket of goodies from the school registration day. We went to his elementary school to pick it up.
He was so excited! He got a volleyball and several fun books.
When we got home we had St. Patrick's Day cards from Nan, Grandaddy and Mema!
With stickers! Yay!
