Frills and Lace!

We had an excellent ultrasound today. Everything looks really good, Hershey is currently a very healthy little Girl! Our appointment today was with a specialist, a perinatologist. We will see him every four weeks for an ultrasound until Hershey arrives. At 32 weeks I'll go in twice a week for a non-stress test. We are receiving excellent medical care! That is so reassuring! Hershey was very shy today, as she has been with every ultrasound. The doctor repeatedly called her "a very uncooperative baby." I think she fits right in with my children. :) Here's a cute picture of her face on the left and body on the right.

Patrick and I were very pleased and went straight out to start up a new wardrobe! Patrick cracked me up. Nothing was "girly" or "pink" enough for him. :) He's also going to be a pretty protective Daddy. I showed him the cutest One piece bathing suit. He said it was too revealing. Poor baby girl, between him and her brothers she doesn't have a chance!

Here's what Daddy bought!

and here is why he bought it:

If you can't read it, it says, "apple of Daddy's eye"

And here is what Mommy bought!

I had a really hard time finding something I liked. Very strange. After looking at little girl clothes and dreaming about them for years, I had a hard time. :) I'm sure that won't last long though. I'm already ready to go look some more!

School Days

Mrs. Amy was kind enough to send me some cute pictures of my boys at school!

This is from their first day.

The whole class showing off their cat masks. Anthony is the fifth from the left and Aiden is seventh.

And "the hat!"

Evidently he wore this all day. When I picked him up he had it on and another Mom told me he had put it on when she was dropping her daughter off! He loved that hat!
Photobucket

The real question is, "did he love the hat because he's fashion conscious?" or "did he love the hat because the girls dig it?" I'm pretty sure I know the answer!

Sleep

I do not want to know what was happening before these pictures were taken. It is in Mommy's best interest to just be thrilled they are sleeping and amused at where they are doing it and how!

17 weeks

Here's the Hershey belly at 17 weeks. The fact that I've thrown up everyday this week does not seem to be inhibiting my appetite or the growing belly. :)

Hershey update

We had a doctor's appointment today. Everything is going very well, very normal, which is very unusual for us! We are loving it! Hershey was hiding from the Doppler today, so we got a bonus ultrasound! He or she waved at us and we could see the fingers clearly! It was so neat!!! Here's our little one:

We go back in four weeks and have our big ultrasound in five weeks. Hopefully Hershey will cooperate and we will find out if this little one is a boy or a girl! Today, the baby had legs crossed and was being quite modest. Both of my boys, Aiden and Colin, were very proud to show off their anatomy, so here's to hoping Hershey won't be shy in five weeks!

Here's our latest belly pic. This was taken Friday at 15 weeks.

Aiden-isms

Just some funnies recently I don't want to forget!

"Aiden, what do you want from Sonic?"
"I want potator tots!"

"You're my best Mommy ever!"

"Aiden where do you want to eat today?"
"Water Buffalo Wings!" (Buffalo Wild Wings)

"Aiden, why do you chew on things?"
"I didn't mean to Mommy"
"But, Aiden, why do you do it? Just tell me why?"
"Because my Nan was chewing on her foot. Like this!" (and he brought his foot to his mouth to chew on it, replacing the blanket and fingers he was chewing on)

Whew! Glad to know the chewing isn't my fault!
