Today is National Adoption Day. This time last year we were filing paperwork to finalize Anthony's adoption. God has a heart for orphans. James 1:27 says,
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Take a little time today and have a conversation with God about what He wants you to do about the more than 130 million orphaned children throughout the world.
