Abby turned three months old yesterday. She is the greatest joy to our family. She's started cooing and smiling. She loves her big brothers. She is wearing mostly Newborn clothes, some 0-3 months, but they are still a little big on her. She is in Newborn diapers still. She was around nine or ten pounds when she was weighed on the Wii last night, I think closer to nine, Patrick says she's closer to ten. She is sleeping well at night, she goes at least one six hour stretch without waking to eat. She has started putting herself to sleep for naps, but they tend to be really short! She loves being held and she gets very excited at the sound of her Daddy's voice. She can sit with support really well now and loves to do that and look around. We are seeing some of her personality emerge and it is so exciting to see how God has wired her! Here are some pictures taken yesterday!

Countdown to the Castle
A year ago we were watching a Disney movie and Aiden asked his Daddy if he would take him to see the castle from the Disney logo. Both boys have been asking ever since then to see that castle. We are counting down to our trip to see the castle! We get to spend a week at Disney in June!
Can you tell we are excited???

March of Dimes 2010
It rained, but it was a wonderful walk! We raised $345 this year! Thank you so much for your support!!!
We're about to start! (Abby is upset because we moved her covers to get a picture and the rain hit her)
Off we go!
Lots of people saving lives of babies!
Carrying Abby! It's amazing how much better shape I am in this year than I was last year! I carried all 8 pounds of her for about three of the four miles. Never could have done that last year! So proud of myself!
Even though I am proud of myself, I am even prouder of my boys!!! They both walked the majority of the four miles! Anthony literally ran the first mile and Aiden went three miles before asking for a break!
We did it!!!!

Easter Egg Science
While in Texas Nan and the grandkids embarked on a Quest! They made these beautiful eggs out of sugar.
Everyone, including my beautiful cousin Kristi, got involved in this really cool project!
Aiden's egg had a stuffed bunny inside and bumblebees on top.
Anthony's egg had a stuffed duck and butterflies on top.
Both boys were really proud of their eggs. They were really cool. They attracted ants, sugar ants. This was Not cool with Mom. So, after Easter we did a science experiment!
Anthony kept trying to drink the water. Yuck!
Aiden just kept saying, "look, that's so cool!"
A Quest that was sweet as can be and melted their hearts!

March Madness Update!
I posted here about our tradition of doing brackets for March Madness. I WON!!!!!!! Followed by Patrick (which means I beat him for the first time ever!), Abby, Aiden, and then Anthony. However, none of us chose the winner this year. I love rooting for the underdog and Butler played an Amazing game! We are Duke fans though, so we were quite pleased with the outcome. Did I mention I won???!!!

Support our Walk!
We are walking in the March for Babies on April 24th. I'm very excited to be a part of March for Babies for the 8th year!
We walk to remember our four children, Hannah Grace, Colin Michael, Airen Lee, and Dash Liam and our precious nephew Matthew. We hope the funds we raise will give children like them a chance to live and reduce the parents likelihood of grieving instead of rejoicing. We also walk in honor of our sons Aiden John and Anthony Joseph. Aiden has a genetic syndrome that technology from the March of Dimes helped diagnose. Anthony was born early, but is healthy today because of the technology of the March of Dimes.
It's amazing how much can change in a year! This is my post last year. This year we walk to CELEBRATE Abigail Jaicee, born 5 weeks early at 3 pounds 5 ounces! She is a miracle and proof that March of Dimes technology is saving lives!
Please help me reach my goal by making a donation to my walk. Your gift will fund March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care. Please support this important work. You can make a donation with your credit card, or if you prefer, cash or a check is fine, too.
Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!

Mini Vacation
At Aiden's birthday party we promised him and Anthony that we would be going on a family outing, just the five of us, very soon. That was in February! Due to Patrick's work schedule and other conflicts, it just wasn't happening. On Easter Sunday we realized that, due to some rescheduling at work, Patrick suddenly, unexpectedly had two days off in a row! That just doesn't happen! We spontaneously decided to take that trip and try out the new swimsuits the children got in their Easter baskets! We drove an hour north of us, to Rockford, Illinois, and stayed the night at the Clock Tower Resort and played at the Coco Key Water Resort.
Ready to swim! Can you see that Anthony's new swimsuit is turned up at the waist? That's to try and keep it on! We forgot to try it on him before we got to the resort and he was so excited to swim, we didn't have time to go exchange it for a smaller size! It's huge on him! Half the world has now seen his little hiney. We pulled it up fifteen million times over the course of the next two days!
Little Miss in her first swimsuit. Also too big for her, but not as big as I thought it would be. It is near impossible to find a swimsuit for a seven pound baby! "We're doing what Mom?"
Sliding! Aiden on the left with the blue life jacket, Anthony on the right in the yellow.
Two little fish!
I'm liking this swimming thing!
The third little fish!!!
Whew! Lots of fun swimming! In our jammies, watching cartoons before bed.
The buckets!
The buckets!!!
Lots of fun together!
Patrick and the boys literally closed down the park on Monday! They swam from 10am to 3pm, broke for an hour for lunch, and then swam from 4pm to 7:30pm. After lunch Abby and I opted to go shopping instead of back to the pool. When we finished dinner I changed all of the kids into jammies and we headed back to Sugar Grove. As I was changing Aiden into his jammies he said, "Mommy, I'm ready to sleep in the van!" He barely had his seatbelt on before he handed Patrick his glasses! He's never done that! They all slept until 8 this morning. I'm liking the waterpark!!!! We had a great time on our spontaneous mini vacation!

Easter egg hunt
After church and nap, there were Easter baskets!
Um, do I have to wake up for this?
A new chair!
A kite!
After we emptied our Easter baskets we went outside to fill them again with eggs!
Anthony found one! It was so windy the eggs were flying away!!! We know we lost two of them!
Aiden found one!
Abby filled her basket!
There's only one more left to find! Where could it be?
Daddy's always sneaky!
I bet it's in this pocket!
Got it!
