Have you ever held a miracle?

Last Saturday we went to Macomb. It was one of the best days I've ever had there. It was such a joy to see so many wonderful friends and to introduce them to Abby. As people held her that day, over and over I heard her referred to as "a miracle" and "an answer to our prayers." These are the people that have truly walked the hardest road of our lives with us. They watched us bury our son the first week we lived there. They walked through two more miscarriages with us.

All of them are different. All have different roles in our lives.

Friends that hurt when we hurt and offered words of wisdom and comfort.

They are prayer warriors we could not live without!

They are all unique and sadly, I don't even have a picture of all of them. Yet, each one of them has something in common. They prayed for Abby. They went relentlessly before the throne of their Father on her behalf. As a result of their faithfulness, God allowed them to hold a miracle today!

I know that she is a miracle! I tell each of my children that they are miracles often. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for Abby's life. It must be something amazing! Please continue to pray for her!

To everyone that prayed for Abby (in Macomb and all over the world), thank you. Would you post a comment and let me know you prayed? Someday I will share this blog with her and tell her the story of how people came together to pray her here safely. I'm looking forward to that day! I think she will be in awe of how many people love her!

Oh Abby ~~ Your Mommy was at my house when she found out that you were in her tummy! From that second on I have prayed for you everyday and usually more than once a day. I know that God has something very special that He has planned for you. I will pray that He will watch over you and keep you safe and that you will grow up to be the sweet young lady that He created you to be. I pray that you will accept Him as your personal Savior and live your life for Him. I love you and will always be praying for you. Philippians 1:3

Angie,
I am thrilled to see that God has answered our prayers by blessing you with a healthy baby girl :) And I was honored to be able to pray for her.

Abby, the night your mommy told me she was pregnant with you, I had a dream about you. I dreamed of your beautiful eyes and soft blonde hair. I dreamed of chubby cheeks and hands and a sweet smile. The cool thing was that your mommy told me later that she had a similar dream. You have been prayed for for many months and even years. I know what a special blessing and miracle you are to your mommy and daddy and brothers. I know God has a special purpose for you and I look forward to seeing what that purpose is. I feel blessed to call your mommy one of my best friends and to have been able to pray for you and your safe delivery into this world. I will continue to pray for you as you grow and mature and come to know the love of Christ and being a member of His family. May God bless you now and in the future and may you know how truly loved and longed for you have been and will continue to be.
Love, Keren

Angie-

I prayed for you and Abby- and Patrick and Anthony and Aiden!- every day of your pregnancy, and still pray almost daily for you all.

You probably knew that already.

But did you know you had an entire congregation you didn't know praying for you, too? My church added you guys to our prayer list. I gave them updates on you and Abby, and passed on your specific prayer requests. We even prayed for your nursing struggles!
